1. Overview

SECUSCAN X-ray rail-mounted gantry inspection systems adopts a high-energy Electron Linear Accelerator as the radiation source. It is suit for rapid, automated scanning of vehicles and cargo.

The X-ray generator and X-ray detector array are mounted on an electric-powered gantry that runs on rails. The system automatically scans unoccupied vehicles parked between the rails. The gantry is remotely controlled from a nearby office, where the X-ray images are sent for examination and evaluation. Therefore, it is well-suited to cargo screening at entrances to critical facilities, as well as border crossings and seaports. Besides with unique modular gantry design, X-ray rail-mounted gantry inspection system is ideal for flexible relocation and reliable self-shielding.
